Stratego, a leading consultancy firm, sought to modernise their strategic advisory process by consolidating various diagnostic tools into a single, intelligent platform. The goal was to move beyond static PDF reports and create a dynamic environment where consultants and clients could interact with their strategic data in real-time. SevenLab was tasked with building a production-ready proof of concept that could handle complex document structures and provide reliable, source-backed strategic advice.
Consultants at Stratego often manage vast amounts of fragmented data across multiple organisations, including DNA scans, market analyses, and KPI trees. Manually extracting actionable priorities from these documents was time-consuming, and clients frequently struggled to keep track of their strategic progress after the initial workshops. The platform needed to support strict data isolation between clients, handle diverse file formats like video and images, and ensure that AI-generated advice was always grounded in specific, verifiable document excerpts.

We developed a full-stack AI platform using Vue, Convex, and LiteLLM, featuring a sophisticated RAG pipeline powered by Gemini Embedding 2. The system allows for bulk 'smart uploads' where AI automatically categorises documents into strategic pillars, while a custom chat interface provides users with instant answers backed by precise source references down to the paragraph level.
